Barstow, William M. North Star. Enlisted in company D, Twenty-sixth Infantry, as Sergeant, August 9, 1862 at North Star, for three years, age 35. Mustered September 15,1862. Wounded in action at Spottsylvania, Va., May 12, 1864. Commissioned Second Lieutenant April 15, 1864. Discharged on account of disability at Detroit, Michigan, December 16, 1864.
Belding, Benjamin F. North Star. Enlisted in company I, Twenty-first Infantry, September 6, 1864, at Jackson, for one year, age 32. Mustered September 6, 1864. Discharged at Alexandria, Va. June 23, 1865.
Dean, William North Star. Enlisted in company D, Twenty-sixth Infantry, August 9, 1862, at North Star for three years, age 28. Mustered September 15, 1852. Sergeant. Killed in action at Spottsylvania, Va., May 12, 1864.

Dye, Henry North Star. Enlisted in company I, Twenty-first Infantry, September 6, 1864, at Jackson, for one year, age 22. Mustered September 6, 1864. Joined regiment at Chattanooga, Tenn., October 17, 1864. Sick at Savannah, Ga., January 12, 1865. No further record.

Wounded in action at South Mountain, Md., September 14, 1862. Taken prisoner at Spottsylvania, Va., May 12, 1864. Discharged at Washington D. C., June 24, 1865.
Everts, John S. or Evitts. Drafted for 1 year, from North Star, Gratiot County, age 43. Mustered September 24, 1864. Assigned to company F, Twenty-third Infantry. Joined regiment at Johnsonville, Tenn., November 12, 1864. Died of disease at Jefferson Barrack, Mo., December 26, 1864. Buried in National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Section 31, Grave No. 2714.
Gledston, James or Gladstone. North Star. Enlisted in company D, Twenty-sixth Infantry, August 13, 1862, at North Star, for three years, age 18. Mustered September 15, 1862. Died September 17, 1864, at Philadelphia, Pa. of wounds recieve in action at White Oak Swamp, Va,. August 16, 1864. Buried in National Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pa. Grave No. 252.

Take prisoner at Campbell Station, Tenn., November 16, 1863. Returned to regiment at Knoxville, Tenn., December 15, 1863. Mustered out at Delaney House, D. C., June 3, 1865.
